Job summary

Bronson Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Sonographer to perform transesophageal, stress, and transthoracic echocardiograms. You will evaluate patient histories, obtain high-quality images, and document results for physician interpretation across Bronson facilities.

The role requires ARDMS registry eligibility or active credentials, BLS, and the ability to travel between Paw Paw and South Haven sites. Part-time schedule with 10 hours per week, providing essential cardiac imaging support.

Qualifications

• Must hold RDCS, RVT or CCI registry from ARDMS or registry-eligible candidates must achieve registry within one year of placement
• BLS certification required upon hire or within six months
• College level courses in Echocardiography with extensive technical training/experience in anatomy and disease
• Must be able to operate databases and office software used in the department
• Ability to work with managers, physicians, and customers in a team setting

Responsibilities

• Perform transesophageal, stress and transthoracic echocardiograms on patients of all ages
• Ensure the clinical indication matches the patient history and symptoms
• Document and transmit pertinent data into the digital archive per policy
• Assure compliance with laboratory protocols and sterile technique
• Travel to different Bronson facilities as needed
