Job summary

ImageCare Radiology is seeking a board-certified Cardiologist for a part-time, on-site role in New Jersey. You will supervise and interpret non-invasive cardiovascular tests, including TTE, stress echo, and nuclear studies, on a per-study basis. The position offers flexible scheduling within an outpatient imaging setting.

Eligibility includes active NJ license, BLS/ACLS, and strong interpretation skills. This is an Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity with compensation per study and

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of ACGME Internal Medicine residency and Cardiovascular Disease fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease (ABIM) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform, supervise, and interpret transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and nuclear cardiology studies.
• Review orders, history, and indications to determine appropriateness of testing.
• Interpret imaging studies and prepare reports for referring providers.
• Provide physician supervision of stress testing per regulations and standards.
• Evaluate patients before testing and ensure proper preparation.
• Respond to emergencies during stress testing or imaging per ACLS.
• Collaborate with sonographers, technologists, nursing, and staff to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with ASE, ASNC, ACC guidelines.
