Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree in Sonography or Radiology or completion of a 12-month ultrasound program within 3 months of hire.
• Licensure: ARDMS/CCI or registry-eligible and register within 1 year from hire.
• Experience: No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence in pre- and post-procedure patient care, CPR and emergency cardiac care.
• Ensures equipment is calibrated and maintained daily; reports issues.
• Generates ultrasound images of the heart and vascular structures.
• May perform staff training and education.
• Monitors and records patient information and manages data systems; prepares reports.
• Prepares procedure room and equipment for daily use and between procedures.
