Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in state of practice and BLS required.
• BSN must be obtained within four years of hire or promotion; education agreement may apply.
• Compact license transfers to the state of practice within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead unit staffing, scheduling, and resource management to meet patient needs.
• Provide bedside clinical leadership during RN shifts and supervise staff.
• Coordinate admission, discharge, and transfer planning with the care team.
• Oversee staff competency, performance reviews, and professional development.
• Promote safety, quality, and patient experience on the unit.
• Mentor nurses toward expert practice and ensure regulatory compliance.
