Job summary

The position is at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado, with 30 scheduled hours per week including 10-hour days and on-call shifts. ARDMS/CCI and BLS are required, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification required for cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification required for healthcare providers.
• Candidates with bachelor-level education may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams following department protocols.
• Schedule and prioritize exams, coordinating with medical staff and patients.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort and obtain quality exam results.
• Document results and apply appropriate charge codes for exams.
• Mentor staff and students on equipment use and techniques.
• Maintain equipment and supply area, assisting with repairs and restocking.
