Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking an Outpatient Cardiac Sonographer, Casual (8 hours/1 day per week) for the Rehoboth Office. The role involves performing diagnostic echocardiograms and assisting physicians in diagnosing cardiac disease in adults and geriatrics.

Requirements include ARDMS RDCS or RCVT certification (or registry eligibility), a CPR certification, and an Associate degree preferred. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, a 403(b) plan with employer match, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree preferred.
• ARDMS RDCS or RCVT certification, or eligible for registry.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic echocardiograms per ASEcho standards.
• Assist physicians in diagnosis of cardiac disease.
• Present completed echocardiograms to physicians accurately.
• Demonstrate ability to recognize normal/abnormal results.
• Prefer IV experience for contrast and bubble studies.
