Job summary

The School of Civil and Construction Engineering at Oregon State University seeks a part-time, 9-month fixed-term Instructor to co-teach capstone design courses and support curriculum development. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering required.
• Demonstrable interest in teaching and mentoring.

• Demonstrable commitment to promoting inclusive excellence in engineering education and practice.

Responsibilities

• Co-teach the capstone design courses for Civil and Architectural Engineering students; assist development of course materials and curriculum design.
• Provide design guidelines, advise students on design process, assess performance, and mentor student teams.
• Lead and mentor undergraduate and graduate teaching assistants and foster inclusive classroom practices.
