• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with external and internal colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in engineering design, including capstone design.
• Teach courses in core areas of mechanical engineering, such as manufacturing, mechanics, or thermodynamics.
• Develop and update course materials, lectures, assignments, and labs.
• Incorporate active learning, project-based learning, and AI tools where appropriate.
• Mentor undergraduate students, including design teams and capstone projects.
• Contribute to assessment and continuous improvement of the undergraduate curriculum.
• Collaborate with faculty on instructional innovation and interdisciplinary teaching initiatives.
• Participate in departmental service activities.
