Job summary

TerrAscend is seeking a part-time Wellness Associate to provide compassionate customer service to patients and customers in our Nottingham, MD location. The role involves cannabis product recommendations, dosing guidance, and options for consumption, with on-site responsibilities and a schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Highlights include assisting with patient records, maintaining product knowledge, and ensuring compliance and security.

Qualifications

• Must meet age requirements by state as determined by the Department of Health or State Regulatory Commission.
• At least 1 year of customer service/retail experience preferred.
• Cannabis experience is a plus.
• Must be flexible regarding work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work well within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients, caregivers and customers with cannabis recommendations through product selection, affects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption and administration.
• Management of patient records through the systems.
• Maintain thorough product knowledge and answer concerns promptly, referring to dispensary healthcare practitioner or management when appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of state regulatory requirements and guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service to deliver a distinctive and delightful patient experience, ensuring confidentiality and security.
• Develop and maintain relationships with patients, caregivers and customers by anticipating needs.
• Follow policies for customer service, staff management, patient and visitor management, inventory, cash handling, state compliance, and safety.
• Complete the required state mandated training program.
• Any other tasks assigned by Management.
