Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Guard Campus Building Patrol in New York, NY. You will patrol campus areas, deter incidents, and provide a welcoming environment while delivering professional customer service to students, staff and visitors.

The role requires compliance with licensing, background checks, and a post-offer drug screen where permitted, with shifts that cover daytime and overnight blocks on a college campus.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment; driver’s license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following site protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of campus buildings, grounds, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Complete daily activity and incident reports per procedures.
