Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer for a Patrol Driver role at a Chicago site. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible presence.

This night-drive position pays $21.50 per hour with Thur-Fri-Sat shifts (7:45 PM – 4:00 AM). A valid driver’s license, high school diploma, and background check are required.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings and perimeter areas to identify hazards and access concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist visitors while following visitor and access-control procedures.
• Document patrols and incidents and communicate information to leadership.
