Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests while following security procedures and campus policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, per campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, residence areas, common spaces, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate information to supervisors and campus partners.
