Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed Response Driver) in Normal, IL. You will patrol, deter security incidents, and support access control at an automotive location.

This driving position requires a valid driver’s license and delivers customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors. The role offers a flexible schedule with shifts including days and evenings, a competitive pay rate of $19.00 per hour, and opportunities for training, growth, and benefits

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license in accordance with company policy.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations following emergency protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, parking, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor and vehicle activity per site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations and maintenance concerns to leadership and site representatives.
