Job summary

Interlochen Center for the Arts is seeking a part-time Custodian/Cleaner for a year-round role. The position is 3 days per week, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., located on the Interlochen, MI campus.

Prior cleaning experience is a plus; HS diploma or GED preferred. You’ll maintain clean spaces, support events, and collaborate with the Environmental Services team to keep the campus welcoming. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of custodial/cleaning experience is a plus.
• Willingness to learn Interlochen’s cleaning standards and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Clean and care for assigned classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
• Perform routine custodial tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
• Independently prioritize cleaning needs based on building use and events; collaborate on larger projects.
