Job summary

Oregon State University seeks CAMP Tutors for the College Assistance Migrant Program. These on-campus, part-time roles (2–6 hours per week) support first-year migrant students through one-on-one tutoring and group activities.

Tutors will join a collaborative team, attend regular meetings, and may present at orientations or workshops. Strong academic standing and flexible scheduling are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university.
• Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment.
• Undergraduate international students: 12 credit hours per term; Graduate students as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one tutoring to CAMP students at approved campus locations.
• Attend tutor meetings to share ideas and strategies with fellow tutors.
• Participate in orientation presentations and educational workshops as assigned.
• Guide students in their academic learning and customize teaching approaches.
• Determine the best methods to teach the students based on their learning needs.
