Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or Social Services field required.
• Experience in intake or crisis assessment preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Answers calls within 3 rings with proper greeting and collects demographic, clinical and insurance information.
• Performs telephonic risk assessment to determine suicidality/homicidality; involves 911 if in danger.
• Completes Inquiry Call Sheet with information and assessment outcome.
• Schedules assessments, evaluations and admissions; explains process and required items.
