Bluestem Communities is seeking part-time Café Team Members for the Hesston Bakery and Cafe location. You will take orders, prepare soups, salads, sandwiches and drinks while delivering friendly service in a community-focused setting.

The role requires at least 16 years of age, basic computer use, and English speaking/writing. A positive attitude and a willingness to help seniors are essential for success in this team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must be able to operate a computer and handle basic cash transactions.
• Must have a positive attitude and provide great customer service.
• Must enjoy working with the elderly and be able to understand their needs.
• Must be able to speak and write English.

Responsibilities

• Take orders; prepare menu items including soups, salads, sandwiches, and drinks while providing excellent customer service.
• Cook food and prepare drinks according to menus and recipes; adhere to all recipes.
• Organize food preparation and ensure proper timing and temperatures.
• Follow Food Code standards for handling and serving food; maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
