Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Prefer at least two years baking experience.
• Must enjoy working with the elderly and be able to understand their needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare doughs, fillings, batters, icings and other components by measuring ingredients.
• Use mixers and cooking machinery to blend ingredients into high-quality baked goods.
• Decorate cakes, pastries and other baked items for birthdays and celebrations.
• Remain alert to team needs and assist when required.
• Consult daily order sheets to determine items for the day.
• Follow Food Code standards for food handling and serving.
• Check and record temperatures to ensure safe holding temperatures.
• Prepare, cook and store foods using proper temperatures and handling techniques.
• Maintain food usage according to recipes and budgets.
• Keep kitchen equipment clean and in good working order.
