Job summary

Mattel's American Girl Dallas retail store Café is seeking a dynamic Part-Time Server (30 Hours, benefitted) to deliver food and beverages and provide an outstanding dining experience to café guests. The role requires a calm, positive attitude, excellent communication, and the ability to handle customer requests graciously in a fast-paced setting.

We are looking for someone with ServSafe preferred certification, 1–2 years of experience in a high-volume or fine dining environment, and comfort

Qualifications

• ServSafe certification is preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a high-volume or fine dining environment.
• Experience with restaurant POS systems and guest service.
• Experience working with children is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and carry a serving tray.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and inform guests about menu options and events.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menu items and ingredients; accommodate allergies.
• Address guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Deliver food and beverages, upsell, and manage tables and checks.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain station and tables.
