Sullivan's Grocery #16 - Brookhaven, MS is seeking a Part-Time butchers and meat cutters to join the Meat Department. You will cut, trim, weigh, and price meat products for display and sale, and respond to customer inquiries with a focus on quality and presentation.

You will prepare special cuts on order, inspect deliveries, and assist with inventory and labeling while maintaining safety and accuracy throughout the shift. Flexible scheduling supports part-time availability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of related meat-cutting/retail experience.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of labeling and weighing meat.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers; address inquiries and complaints.
• Wrap, weigh, label and price meat cuts for display.
• Prepare special cuts upon customer order.
• Cut, trim, bone, tie, and grind meats for cooking forms.
• Receive, inspect, and store meat deliveries for quality.
• Package roasts and secure ties with boning tools and twine.
• Assist with inventory and stock rotation; help manage supplies.
• Supervise other meat department staff when needed.
