St. Andrew's Parks & Playground Commission is seeking a part-time afternoon driver to safely transport children from local schools to our After School Program. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, following the Charleston County School District calendar; no CDL required.

You will operate a 14-passenger mini-bus or a 7-passenger van, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for passengers. Opportunities for training and benefits are available.

Formación

• Must be at least 21 years old to drive a 14-passenger bus or at least 18 to drive a 7-passenger van.
• Valid driver license.
• Driving record meeting agency insurance eligibility requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to maintain a consistent Monday–Friday afternoon schedule.
• Experience working with children or youth preferred.

Part Time Afternoon Driver

St. Andrew's Parks & Playground Commission is hiring a part time after school bus & van driver to safely transport children from local schools to our After School Program. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a consistent weekday afternoon schedule during the school year. No CDL required.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM to approximately 4:30 PM, following the Charleston County School District calendar.

Starting Pay:

Pay range $17.00 - $18.50, based on experience

Responsibilities include:

• Safely transport children in a 14-passenger mini-bus, or a 7-passenger van
• Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain a safe, positive environment for passengers
• Follow all traffic laws and agency safety procedures
• Communicate professionally with staff, parents, and school personnel

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old to drive a 14-passenger bus OR be at least 18 years old to drive a 7-passenger van
• Valid driver license
• Must maintain a driving record that meets the agency's vehicle insurance eligibility requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to maintain a consistent Monday - Friday afternoon schedule
