St. Andrew's Parks and Playground Commission is seeking a Part Time Afternoon Driver to safely transport children from local schools to the After School Program. This weekday afternoon role offers a steady schedule during the school year, with no CDL required.

Shifts run Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to about 4:30 PM, aligned with the Charleston County School District calendar. Starting pay is $17.00 to $18.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old to drive a 14-passenger bus or 18+ to drive a 7-passenger van.
• Valid driver license.
• Driving record must meet insurance requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to maintain a consistent Monday–Friday afternoon schedule.
• Experience with children or youth preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport children in a 14-passenger mini-bus or a 7-passenger van.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a safe, positive environment for passengers.

St. Andrew's Parks & Playground Commission is hiring a part time after school bus & van driver to safely transport children from local schools to our After School Program. Schedule

Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM to approximately 4:30 PM, following the Charleston County School District calendar.

Starting Pay

Pay range $17.00 - $18.50, based on experience

• Follow all traffic laws and agency safety procedures
