Grants Pass School District 7 is accepting applications for a Bus Monitor for the 2026-2027 school year in Grants Pass, Oregon. The position is 3.75 hours per day, part-time, 185 days per year, with a specified starting date of immediately.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, ability to communicate with students, basic report writing, and current First Aid/CPR certificates and Oregon Driver’s License. Spanish bilingual preferred; fingerprinting fees apply.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.
• Able to effectively communicate with students of various ages and abilities.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions; make entries on reports and records.
• Must maintain all training certificates related to First Aid/CPR; must possess a current Oregon Operator’s License.
• Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish preferred.
• Employee pays fingerprinting fees: $12.50 fingerprinting fee and $75 ODE fingerprinting processing fee.

Responsibilities

• Monitor bus safety and student supervision during transportation.
• Assist with student supervision and behavior management toward a safe environment.
• Complete reports and records as required by district procedures.
• Maintain required training certificates (First Aid/CPR).
