Job summary

YMCA of Greenville is seeking a Part-time Bus Driver to transport children and counselors safely between schools and field trips. You will model professional behavior, maintain the bus, and keep accurate trip logs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 20 years old and possess a valid South Carolina Driver’s License with the ability to operate a 14 passenger mini‑bus – CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 14 passenger mini‑bus.
• Ensure the safety of passengers at all times while in a YMCA vehicle.
• Maintain equipment to ensure safety of participants.
• Communicate with appropriate supervisor any equipment needs.
• Return bus to appropriate place clean and free of belongings.
• Maintain accurate records at all times including trip and mileage logs.
• Adhere to policies related to boundaries with consumers
• Attend/complete required abuse risk management training
• Adhere to procedures related to managing high‑risk activities and supervising consumers
• Follow mandated reporting requirements
• Adhere to job specific abuse risk management responsibilities
