Job summary

YMCA of Greenville seeks a part-time Bus Driver to safely transport children and counselors to and from schools or field trips, serving as a role model in promptness, manners, language, appearance and health.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 20 years of age
• Valid South Carolina Driver’s License with ability to operate a 14-passenger mini-bus
• Preference given to those holding a CDL

Responsibilities

• Operate a 14 passenger mini-bus.
• Ensure the safety of passengers at all times while in a YMCA vehicle.
• Maintain equipment to ensure safety of participants.
• Communicate with appropriate supervisor any equipment needs.
• Return bus to appropriate place clean and free of belongings.
• Maintain accurate records at all times including trip and mileage logs.
• Adhere to policies related to boundaries with consumers.
• Attend/complete required abuse risk management training.
• Adhere to procedures related to managing high‑risk activities and supervising consumers.
• Follow mandated reporting requirements.
• Adhere to job specific abuse risk management responsibilities.
