Commonwealth Community Development Academy seeks a dynamic Bus Driver to transport students safely to and from school sites and field trips. The role requires a valid Michigan CDL with P&S endorsements, a current Medical Examiner’s Certificate, and a clean driving record.

Split shifts: 5:30 am–8:00 am and 3:00 pm–6:00 pm, with attention to passenger safety and daily vehicle inspection. Responsibilities include supervising passengers, managing route changes with supervision, documenting reports,

Formación

• Michigan CDL with P&S endorsements required.
• Medical Examiner抯 Certificate (unexpired) needed.
• Safe driving record required.
• Unexpired Course Completion Card.
• Ability to read maps and supervise student safety.

Responsabilidades

• Operate school bus according to schedules and routes.
• Supervise loading/unloading and ensure seat belts are fastened.
• Maintain order and discipline among passengers.
• Inspect vehicle daily for safety and cleanliness; report repairs.
• Transport medication and messages between parents and staff.
• Maintain mileage, routing, maintenance and schedule records.
• Attend trainings and keep licenses up to date.
• Notify delays to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with other routes when needed.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
