Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class B with Passenger and School Bus endorsement required.
• Air Brake endorsement required.
• Motor Vehicle Operator's License required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates a school bus to transport students, teachers, coaches and others to activities and field trips.
• Review trip assignments, schedules and directions before departure and communicate concerns.
• Inspect bus daily and ensure it is clean and in safe working order.
• Maintain order and discipline among students and report incidents.
• Submit records and reports as required and ensure child supervision on all trips.
• Attend trainings and professional development opportunities.
