Job summary

Tri-County Action Program is seeking a compassionate part-time bus driver for our Waite Park location. You will safely operate the bus, assist passengers including those with mobility aids, and maintain daily reports and inspections.

The role requires CDL with passenger endorsement (or ability to obtain), a clean DMV/criminal background, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Training for a CDL is paid, and scheduling runs Monday through Saturday, 20–29 hours per week.

Qualifications

• CDL with passenger endorsement or ability to obtain.
• Pass DMV and criminal background checks.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and secure mobility devices.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate bus on assigned route and stay on schedule.
• Assist passengers with mobility aids and secure devices.
• Perform daily/weekly vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Monitor fare collection from passengers.
• Complete paperwork related to bus operation and passenger concerns.
• Daily cleaning and bus maintenance.
