Job summary

Tri-County Action Program, Inc. seeks compassionate and dependable individuals for a full-time bus driver position in Elk River, MN.

You will operate the bus on assigned routes, assist passengers with mobility aids, and perform inspections while maintaining safety and on-time service. The role requires a CDL with passenger endorsement or ability to obtain one; you will be subject to background and DMV checks, drug testing, and you must be available Monday through Saturday.

Qualifications

• CDL with passenger endorsement or ability to obtain
• Pass DMV violations and criminal background check
• FTA drug and alcohol testing compliance
• Pre-employment and random drug testing
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Proficient with computers, navigation technology
• Must be available for scheduling Monday-Saturday

Responsibilities

• Safely operate bus on assigned route, staying on schedule and providing excellent service to customers.
• Assist passengers with mobility aids and secure them and aids properly.
• Conduct daily and weekly vehicle inspections and report defects to Lead Driver.
• Monitor fare collection from passengers.
• Complete paperwork related to bus operation and passenger concerns.
• Be responsible for daily cleaning and bus maintenance.
