Tri-CAP in Sauk Centre, MN is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Bus Driver to provide curb-to-curb service across its service area and help clients maintain independence through reliable transportation.

Starting wage range of $24.52-$27 per hour is offered with benefits including paid holidays, health/dental/life insurance, employee assistance, and 403b retirement match, plus wellness and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• People person who connects with riders and builds positive relationships.
• Adaptable and change-ready to adjust to priorities due to riders, weather, or dispatch needs.
• Strong problem solving with clear communication with dispatch and customers.
• Safety-oriented approach to provide a safe transportation experience.
• Detail-oriented to anticipate conflicts and explain vehicle maintenance.
• Experience in bus transportation preferred; training to obtain CDL available.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate bus along assigned route and schedule
• Assist passengers with mobility aids (wheelchairs, walkers, etc.)
• Maintain safe transportation standards considering weather and environment
• Conduct daily and weekly vehicle inspections, report defects
• Monitor fare collection from passengers
• Complete paperwork related to bus operation and passenger concerns
• Daily cleaning and bus maintenance
