Responsibilities:

• Safely operate lift-equipped buses carrying up to 18 passengers in all conditions, complying with policies and traffic laws.
• Work collaboratively with passengers, dispatch, personnel, and service providers.
• Handle demanding situations and assist passengers as needed.
• Load and unload passengers, providing transit services via mobile data computer/tablet.
• Review schedules and adjust to passenger needs.
• Communicate with dispatch and management via two-way radio.
• Meet certification requirements set by regulatory agencies.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and report malfunctions.
• Promote transit services and maintain a positive attitude with the public.
• Document fuel use, vehicle miles, and incident reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned and attend meetings/trainings.
