Job summary

Kaleafa in Oregon seeks a Budtender to deliver top customer service, process sales, and ensure compliance with state cannabis rules. You will greet guests, verify IDs, complete transactions, and maintain a clean, organized store environment.

The role requires friendly communication, product knowledge, and the ability to work under varying shifts. Knowledge of regulations and team cooperation are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Possess Marijuana worker permit (Oregon).
• Basic to working-level computer knowledge.
• Moderate to advanced cannabis/product knowledge.
• Polite and effective communication with a diverse clientele.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision under stress.
• Ability to interpret and apply state cannabis rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and know product details.
• Verify guest identifications according to state regulations.
• Input orders, handle payments, total price and tax, and package per rules.
• Collaborate with teammates to open/close the store.
• Wash and sterilize workstations and tools.
• Adhere to state and company marijuana rules and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Description

Budtenders are responsible for ensuring the highest quality customer service, obtaining, preparing, and receiving merchandise for customers, totaling bills, accepting payment, making change for customers, opening and closing procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, maintaining product knowledge and complying with cannabis rules and regulations. Budtenders are responsible for complying with all state regulations and company policies. Additionally, Budtenders should be friendly, outgoing, and possess good communication skills. They should be organized, able to think, and act quickly and effectively while retaining self-composure. Be sensitive to customers’ needs. Take pride in personal appearance and show dedication to the job. Display integrity and honesty in all aspects of employment.

• Ensure each guest receives outstanding customer service by fostering a friendly, welcoming atmosphere; this includes greeting and acknowledging every guest enthusiastically, maintaining outstanding standards, answering questions and\u0027or concerns, making guests feel appreciated through your actions, and having solid product knowledge.
