Job summary

Hulsing Hotels is seeking part-time Breakfast Servers at the DoubleTree by Hilton Lawrence in Lawrence, KS. You will take orders and serve food and beverages to guests, representing the hotel with professionalism and a guest-centered approach.

Responsibilities include handling a smooth service flow for multiple tables, knowing menu items and presentation, and proficiently using the POS system. Prior hotel or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or at least one year of experience as a food and beverage server or related field.
• Previous hotel-related or customer service experience desired.
• Must be team oriented, empathetic, friendly and show initiative.
• Must be able to represent the hotel in a professional manner to hotel guests.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction for all guests through proper progression of service.
• Have the ability to service multiple tables and guests in an efficient manner.
• Know all menu item ingredients, be conversant with cooking techniques, know presentation of each menu item.
• Know how to efficiently operate the POS system.
• In all guest interactions associate must always be professional, accommodating, helpful and friendly.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
