Job summary

Colwen Hotels Sudbury is seeking a Part Time Breakfast Attendant for Fairfield Inn Sudbury. The role covers setting up/breaking down the breakfast buffet, maintaining the dining area, ensuring food is available, and delivering guest service.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, answering menu questions, ensuring safety standards, delivering items, and keeping areas clean. Flexible schedule includes early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, ability to solve problems.
• Basic understanding of sanitation regulations for workplace safety.
• Basic understanding of food handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work with a team.
• Ability to maintain personal hygiene.
• Willingness to work rotational schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prep food offerings, set up food service area.
• Acknowledge and welcome each guest with a friendly greeting.
• Answer questions regarding the menu.
• Maintain knowledge of all food items.
• Adhere to food safety regulations including HAACP guidelines.
• Deliver food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items.
• Clear plates and keep dining area clean during shift.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining and guest areas.
• Adhere to Colwen and brand standards for service and policies.
• Know hotel amenities and services offered.
• Set tables to standards and ensure items are clean and in good repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
