Fairfield Inn- is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to set up, maintain, and break down the complimentary breakfast area each morning, ensuring a welcoming space and adherence to brand standards. You will keep items stocked, make fresh coffee, and help present a clean dining area for guests.

The role emphasizes guest interaction, high cleanliness standards, and flexibility to support early shifts and weekend coverage within a hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no minimum education requirement.
• Prior experience in a hotel, food service, or hospitality environment preferred but not required.
• Must be able to initiate and engage in friendly conversation with guests.
• Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Food handler certification may be required in accordance with local health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the breakfast area prior to service hours by cleaning, arranging furniture, emptying trash, making fresh coffee, and stocking supplies.
• Set up and break down continental breakfast items at start and end of service.
• Monitor and restock food items, beverages, and supplies to maintain par levels and presentation.
• Bus and clean tables to keep the area neat during service.
• Receive supplies, rotate stock, and maintain inventory records.
• Maintain daily logs of food temperatures, sanitation, and cleaning per health guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with local health codes and hotel procedures.
