Carter’s Retail Inc. in New York, NY is hiring a Part Time Sales Manager to be the first face of the brand for growing families. You’ll lead a team, champion inclusivity, and coach to deliver excellence in service and product knowledge across our baby and young children lines.

The role emphasizes a welcoming culture, skill development, and flexible schedules with a focus on customer experience and consistent omni-channel service. This is a season-to-long-term opportunity within Carter’s stores.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Strong communication, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Proficient computer skills (Outlook, Excel, web navigation).

Responsibilities

• Become a product/brand expert to help families from preemie to size 14.
• Welcome customers and explain product styles, features and benefits.
• Maintain a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Foster a positive, safe and inclusive environment for staff and customers.
• Lead and coach others and execute assigned business focus area.
• Perform Leader on Duty duties by driving results and resolving issues.
• Use feedback to identify opportunities and drive results.
• Build loyalty through company programs and credit initiatives.
• Provide timely feedback to store team and raise performance concerns.
• Support asset protection and safety on the floor.
