Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union is seeking a branch associate to provide exemplary member service across delivery channels, greet members, answer inquiries, open accounts, process changes, and manage cash with accuracy. You will balance cash drawers, vaults, and coin sorters, and operate the drive-thru when needed.

The role requires patience, professionalism, confidentiality, and strong communication in a fast-paced environment with ongoing training.

Qualifications

Customer service experience handling member inquiries.
Ability to learn and use banking software.

Responsibilities

Handle establishment of new membership and open accounts.
Educate members on services and tailor recommendations.
Enter transactions into the Margo system and balance cash drawer.
Balance the vault, ATM, TCD and coin sorter.
Operate drive-thru window as needed.
Maintain daily/monthly reports such as vault control, returned checks, Visa gift cards, theme park tickets, forgeries, and coin sorter.
Prepare and verify cash deliveries weekly.
Assist members with account problems and reconciliations.
Approve loans/advances with an approving officer.
Answer phones, file, scan documents, and perform clerical duties.
May train in other areas of branch operations.
Other duties as assigned.
