Job summary

Flagstar Bank in East Northport, NY, is seeking a Branch Banking Client Consultant I-PT to deliver front-line client service and teller support. You will welcome clients, identify needs, and conduct financial transactions while upholding risk standards and regulatory requirements.

You will support branch growth through client education, opportunities for cross-sell, and collaboration with teammates in a fast-paced retail banking environment.

Qualifications

• Education level required: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent.
• Minimum experience required: Less than 2 years of customer service and sales experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Financial Services Industry.

Responsibilities

• Sales Performance: Support team efforts to achieve growth targets in financial performance (all Teller related functions) and primary client acquisition. Actively seek and deliver the right client introductions to the right team member(s) to achieve growth targets and execute successful sales initiative
• Client Experience: Provide positive client experience by assisting with account questions, problems and/or complaints and through research and communication resolve in a timely and effective manner.
• Risk Management: Deliver timely and accurate daily financial transactions; adhering to bank policies and regulations.
• ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Performs special projects and additional duties and responsibilities as required; comply with regulatory and compliance policies.
