Job summary

The City of Mesa Arts and Culture Department is seeking a part-time, non-benefited Box Office Representative for the Mesa Arts Center and Amphitheater. Responsibilities include selling tickets over the counter, by mail, and by phone using specialized software, and providing performance and class information to patrons.

The position requires flexibility for irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and is non-classified and at-will.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year of customer service experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish desirable.

Responsibilities

• Sell subscriptions and single tickets over the counter, by mail, and by phone reservation.
• Provide information on performances, schedules, pricing and seating arrangements.
• Balance cash receipts and unsold tickets to ensure accuracy and security.
• Register students for performing and visual arts classes and seasonal camps.
• Serve as information desk and assist with class supplies and memberships.
