Job summary

The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to provide exceptional customer service, assist customers with purchases, and maintain organized inventory on the sales floor.

You will greet guests, shelf and display merchandise, process transactions, and work with faculty, staff, students, alumni, and guests daily. A high school diploma and retail experience are preferred; standard hours occur during winter break with potential for additional shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Must be able to work part-time during winter break.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with purchases, with knowledge of products and inventory.
• Shelve and organize store displays to maintain an appealing sales floor.
• Process sales transactions and balance cash drawers.
• Work with Seminary constituents daily, professionally and accommodatingly.
• Provide exemplary customer service and anticipate guest needs.
• Collaborate with Hospitality Services to support a culture of service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
