Lingo Staffing in Roanoke, VA is seeking a part-time bookkeeper to support a leading marketing company in the Roanoke area. The role offers 20-24 hours per week with flexible scheduling and potential long-term placement based on performance.

Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling AR/AP, general ledger and bank reconciliations. Training on proprietary software will be provided, and candidates should be reliable and able to work independently.

Qualifications

• Previous bookkeeping or electronic accounting experience required.
• Experience with AR, AP, bank reconciliations, and general ledger functions.
• Experience with QuickBooks is not required.
• Willingness to learn new software and processes.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and precision.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
• Maintain the General Ledger.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Process and maintain accurate financial records.
• Work within our proprietary accounting/job management software (training provided).
• Assist with other bookkeeping and accounting tasks as needed.
