Qualifications

• Previous bookkeeping experience required.
• Hands-on QuickBooks Online experience required.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable handling confidential financial information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online.
• Record and categorize income and expenses.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports.
• Review transactions for accuracy and proper categorization.
• Assist with monthly and year-end close processes.
• Organize receipts, invoices, and other financial documentation.
• Communicate with management regarding bookkeeping questions or discrepancies.
• Support the accountant or CPA with tax preparation and financial reporting as needed.
