Qualifications

• One to three years of bookkeeping, accounting, banking, or related experience.
• A high school education required; accounting or business college preferred.
• Aptitude for math and strong attention to detail.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and basic office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Process and record expenditures, balance, and post daily accounting records to general ledgers.
• Prepare reconciliations of general ledger accounts and analyze discrepancies when necessary.
• Serve as backup for other accounting responsibilities as directed.
• Comply with government regulations affecting the credit union industry including OFAC and BSA.
