Job summary

NORTH COAST REPERTORY THEATRE INC. is seeking a Bookkeeper to support the Accounting department in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. You will record and verify transactions, process payroll, and assist with HR functions as needed, while staying organized and detail-oriented.

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of GAAP, strong Excel/QuickBooks skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a small team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Experience as accountant or bookkeeper.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficient with spreadsheets, Excel, and QuickBooks.
• Strong math, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Enter financial data and transactions.
• Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered.
• Prepare trial balance.
• Analyze budgets and other financial information.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Complete required tax forms.
