Job summary

American Red Cross in Denver, CO is seeking a Part-Time Blood Collections Material Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of the blood collection program. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A current, valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required.
• Ability to carry moderate weight and lift up to 75 pounds; physical agility is needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage blood collection equipment and supplies including boxes, labels and canteen supplies.
• Prepare blood collection kits in accordance with established directives; take inventory and order supplies.
• Fill order requisitions from mobile and fixed sites and maintain the collections area.
• Interact in a positive, proactive, customer-focused manner with internal and external customers.
• May drive blood collection vehicles to load/unload required supplies and equipment as needed.
