Job summary

The American Red Cross is hiring a Part Time Blood Collections Material Coordinator in Denver, Colorado. You will support the collections operation by acquiring, distributing and maintaining supplies and equipment used in daily blood collection activities.

Responsibilities include inventory management, kit preparation, order fulfillment, and driving duties when required. The role requires a high school diploma, customer service skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
• Ability to carry moderate weight is required (up to 75 pounds).
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage blood collection equipment and supplies (boxes, labels, canteen supplies).
• Prepare blood collection kits per directives and take inventory to order supplies.
• Fill order requisitions from mobile and fixed sites and ensure supplies are available.
• Interact positively with internal and external customers in a customer-focused manner.
• May drive blood collection vehicles to load/unload supplies when needed.
