Job summary

American Red Cross in Denver, CO is seeking a Part Time Blood Collections Material Coordinator to support the blood collections operation by acquiring, distributing and maintaining supplies and equipment. You will prepare blood collection kits, take inventory, restock, and interact with internal and external customers in a positive, professional manner.

The role includes some driving to load and unload supplies and requires lifting up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills; A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record; Ability to carry moderate weight and lift up to 75 pounds; Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage blood collection equipment and supplies including boxes, labels and canteen supplies; Prepare blood collection kits in accordance with established directives; Take inventory and order supplies from the warehouse, maintaining collections’ supply and equipment area; Fill order requisitions from mobile and fixed sites; Interact in a positive, proactive, and customer-focused manner with both internal and external customers; May drive blood collection vehicles to load and unload required supplies and equipment where applicable and as needed
