Job summary

American Red Cross in Philadelphia, PA is hiring a Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator for Blood Collections. The role supports the collections operation by acquiring, distributing, and maintaining supplies and equipment used in daily blood collection activities.

You will manage equipment, take inventory, fill requisitions from sites, and assist with delivery and return of materials. A paid training program is offered; a high school diploma and strong customer service are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills required.
• A valid driver's license with good driving record required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage blood collection equipment and supplies including boxes, labels and canteen supplies.
• Prepare blood collection kits in accordance with directives.
• Take inventory and order supplies from the warehouse.
• Fill order requisitions from mobile and fixed sites.
• Interact with internal and external customers in a positive, proactive manner.
• May drive blood collection vehicles to load/unload supplies as needed.
