You will work directly with the Founder on live projects evaluating assets, profiling competitors, prioritizing indications, and preparing investor materials.

The role emphasizes rigorous scientific judgment with business and commercial context, supporting market sizing and basic valuation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in biological sciences with coursework or experience in business or data science.
Ability to read and critically evaluate primary scientific literature and clinical trial data.
Proficiency with Excel; strong PowerPoint presentation skills; excellent written communication.

Responsibilities

Scientific evaluation: assess biology, mechanism of action, target validation, and translational evidence.
Literature and data review: synthesize primary literature, preclinical data, and clinical trial results; flag risks.
Indication and target prioritization: compare indications and targets by rationale, unmet need, and development path.
Competitive intelligence: track competitor pipelines and milestones; maintain databases.
Scientific due diligence: lead scientific review of investments, in-licensing, and partnerships.
Cross-border market intelligence: evaluate trials, regulatory pipelines, and market entry hurdles (US FDA, EMA, NMPA, PMDA).
Commercial context: support market sizing, comparables, and basic valuation models.
Materials preparation: draft memos and slides for investors, boards, and strategic planning.
Research operations: keep files, source lists, trackers organized.
