University of Oklahoma Norman Campus, Stephenson School of Biomedical Engineering, invites applications for a part-time (0.5 FTE) ranked-renewable-term Assistant Professor starting Spring 2026. The successful candidate will teach core courses, develop new courses, mentor undergraduate and MS SBME students, and support the School in service activities.

The role emphasizes teaching excellence, student mentoring, and collaboration within SBME and OU's broader biomedical engineering community.

Formación

• PhD in Biomedical Engineering or related field (required).
• Experience teaching undergraduate courses as instructor of record (required).
• Commitment to education and teaching excellence (required).
• Strong communication skills for varied audiences (desirable).
• Interest in community outreach or educational programs (desirable).
• Mentorship/advising of undergraduate and graduate students (desirable).

Responsabilidades

• Teach core undergraduate and graduate biomedical engineering courses.
• Develop new courses in biomedical engineering.
• Mentor and advise undergraduate and MS SBME students.
• Teaching load of three credit hours each semester.
• Support SBME through service activities.
